great thread idea, my vote goes for the lexus is300, why? well it has rwd, lsd, top class engine, double wisbones, rarely broken, superb wireless, quality build, its not a bmw, but dont ask about the is200, not enough all around

I've always thought the IS was very much a more modern 190e. Still very tricky to find a half decent one of shed money though.

You can't really go wrong with a 190e if you find one which has been looked after- saw a nice purpley/blue 2.0 for sale on one of the merc owners club classifieds.

I would really try to seek out a 2.5 diesel automatic if looking myself. They are absolutely indestructable, sound great when poked and return decent MPG. Whats not to like.

A Volvo S60 of some sort. It will be leggy, but it will be outrageously tough, swift and comfortable.

You need a V8 to waft.

So, a V6 to mini-waft?

Mondeo V6 gets my shout.

But the Volvo advert seems to have been written by a retarded chimp. Reason enough to avoid it.
