Yes, who else is going to drive me home when drunk?

Elise - Yes
Griffith - No

Not that I don't trust her in it, she has no desire to drive it.
Think she is concerned about the speed and noise.
I think it would be quite cool and the kids at her school would love it!

I let my previous two drive all my cars, even my Scooby on foreign (drive on the left) roads. My new lady is insured on the Merc (brought the premium down) but I've not let her out in it yet. To be honest I'm still enjoying driving it too much and I've not needed her to be Des yet. I'll let her soon I think. I've only had the car 2 months and we've only been going out for 4 months.
Dont we drive on the left, or is it different in Surrey?

Can't see why anyone wouldn't? At the end of the day it's just a car, which I realise is probably a ban-able phrase on here.

The other Mr Farrendahl has always been free to drive my cars and vice versa, although getting him to drive the MGF was an uphill battle.

it is coll to let them have a shot, not get too comfortable obviously. i sat back nervously on the autobahn as we hit 240-250kph last year. But the real scare as i say is crunching the wheels. One its expensive to sort out and 2 being in london trying to find somewhere to get them done that doesnt involve 2 hours or more of traffic per 1 mile travelled is the real limitation.

Mustang - no but that's an isurance issue/lack of use issue and the fact she has no regard for the interiors of cars which are freely abused by my children when in her care.

Mondeo - it's her car mainly. She can drive it without hitting things with the bumpers. I can't! I have dinged front and rear bumpers through not having a clue where they are and I'm a sh*t reverser.

Forthcoming 3rd car - she will be insured but she would rather her Mondeo though she may change depending on what the car is.

My other half’s too young to be allowed on my insurance. Otherwise I’d probably let her, yes.

proper piston header here - 2 very practical cars... one that is very fuel efficient and one that makes a lot of noise. Both capable of scaring you on a weekend blast.

Back from the pub......

2 cars she will not go within 10 feet of:- Volvo 850 tdi (commuting shed) and the Jeep Wrangler.

She hates the V70R as it is too fast and she prefers her Aero convertible, that I am banned from, Even though I pay for it!!

My wife drives the DBS if I am using her Cayenne, but she promises never to go to a supermarket car park etc.

My ex used to drive mine, no problems. I never really think about it to be honest, ive let my mum and dad jump in them to pop down the shop etc, and ive always done the same in theirs. Its not something that ever crosses my mind

She's both insured and has my permission to drive them but doesn't want to because they are mine. Despite what she thinks, I do trust her.

I would, but she's not interested. 'Too big'. Accord Tourer. Which is fair enough, she knows her limitations and wouldn't feel comfortable driving something as big as that, she's only ever had small cars.

The 350Z is "hers", the Elise is "mine" and the Saab is "ours", but we both are insured for and can drive all three cars. It makes sod all difference to the insurance costs, sometimes it's actually cheaper, so why wouldn't we?

spyder - yes
superleggera - no

The later I only bought to sell later so I need to keep it in perfect condition... and with 3rd party insurance I don't want to risk that nice big payout I have coming when we finally sell it.

Yes, I wouldn't have a car only I could drive.
