RE: MINI's £28k Golf GTI challenger
Discussion
As someone who loves the series 2 JCW hatch and rates it the most usefull car he's ever had - my disapointment at the latest set of Mini simply knows no bounds.
I'm truly gutted as the paper concepts would have made a lot of sense to me as potential future purchases - but the actual outputs are a disaster.
I really dread what the next Mini hatch will be like - I feel a golden goose assasination coming on!!

You better hide.. I believe I read something a year or two back about mini expanding to something stupid like 14 different minis
If they're in the business of selling cars though it seems to be going OK....http://www.oxfordtimes.co.uk/news/9919175.Mini_s_s...
This car will make small children cry, its that hideous.
I guess if you remove the racing strips and made it all black with some normal silver alloys it might look ok. But as it is it's shocking. £28,000 lmao. As was said earlier a BMW M135i makes much more sense for the money.

Ugly, yes, but to my mind it's the closest thing any of the current crop of WRC manufacturers offer to a modern rally car for the road. Where's the 4WD DS3R, Mountune Fiesta or Polo GTI?
Maybe, it is a bit slow though. I'm assuming it will drive more like an Audi than a rally car too.The rest of this thread is ridiculous.
