There is a first gen focus near me that has the purple/green/gold flip paint you normally find on a TVR
The paint job must be worth more than the car itself
Image stolen from the TVR forum so does/did belong to somebody on here. Gorgeous car.
I'm still trying to figure out what this has to do with this thread The paint job must be worth more than the car itself

Last Le Mans, friday evening (so the mind was a little fuzzy) I made a bet that I will turn up at Le Mans with a Bentley or Rolls in Gulf Livery. My preference goes out to a Turbo R, end 80's. Luckily the time to fulfill this one is 10 years, this gives me a little time to save up some pennies. Expect a Baby Blue/Orange Bentley before the end of the decennium turning up at the Houx!
But it doesn't look good on anything, btw:

Gulf colours look mint on nearly all things.
exhibit A:
A few years back we converted my mates Transit from this
to this
as it was a le mans trip vehicle. alot of fun was had by us giving it a B&Q standard make over.
It also got a lot of attention whilst driving through and around france.

I've come to the conclusion that all vans look better in race livery, simply because it makes them look like race-support vehicles.exhibit A:

I can picture that Transit carrying tools and spare parts for a Group C car.
