And this, not the car but the engine:

The V16 that BMW developed for the Rolls Royce Phantom.
Any info on plans for this V16?

RR are, apparently, rather secretive about it:

How about a Mini based roadster from the early 1960s

Or a Rover 75 Coupe.

There was a really wild looking Ford supercar concept that was in all the magazines in the 90s, probably about the same time the F50 was released. All I can remember now is that it was white and had an odd centre exhaust setup, someone must remember it?!

Unsurprisingly Issigonis was a big fan of Citroen. You can certainly see the evidence here. Shades of DS abound. Pity it was not followed up. But that applies to all the Issigonis concepts. Genuinely innovative small car designer. Changed the face of the worlds small cars. Imitation by others being his true epitaph.

I also wonder if this will ever see production:

That'd be the Ford GT90

Not sure it was ever intended for production though?

That new 9-5 Estate looked fab cry

e36 M3 Touring would have been great too.

The word was that the Rover 45 replacement was not far off being finished when Rover went to the wall - by all accounts it was going to be good.

E34 M5 cabrio and E32 V16 would be nice to have in numbers above 1.

Anyway, for me, Range Stormer:

I know it's a concept, but yeah, i like it.

Wasn't that a West Coast Customs special?

It didn't go quite as well as they thought it might & the range was utterly pants allegedly. But a few engines were built I think 3 or 4, it is in reality just two BMW V8's. Rowan Atkinson had one of the engines built into a Phantom.

Lamborghini Cala! Some of this presumably led to what became the Gallardo.

That Lambo above looks like a Proton.

For me it'd be the Audi Avantissimo. 4.2 twin turbo V8 with massive road presence.
