Dad is normally expected to ditch his fancy car/bike/hobby, but in the history of woman kind has there ever been an instance where a horse has been put up for sale with the tag line "new baby forces sale"?

Think it's normally the other way around: "new daughter forces new pony purchase" hehe

Priorities.

I sold the GTA because I couldn't justify the running costs with a little person to feed. 2 more days to go till arrival day (hopefully)

My assumption is that these are weak males.
I honestly can't tell if you're a troll or an idiot.

My incoming baby prompted a change from a 3.0 V6 coupe to a 4.4 V8 estate.

That's because I am neither - and you are CLEARLY not someone who has any say on this subject, greg.

The job of looking after a baby properly takes up lots of time and money, also if your car is not baby compatible then you might well use the line "new baby forces sale" to tell prospective purchasers your reason for sale is genuine and there is not a future problem looming with the vehicle.

Reckon a lot of the time it is bks and just used to give a 'plausible' reason for selling.

Still have the Lotus. Haven't actually driven it for a while, but I see it most days rotting gently in the garage.

Sold the v6 Alfa and bought a Saab aero. Goes whoosh when we get the chance.

I put it in my advert to attempt to give the prospect the reassurance that there was a reason for selling...

I've gone from a Cooper S, to a 530d saloon, to an A4 estate, priorities change eh...

We have 3 children. For me, the fun started once they arrived. What's not to like?

Subaru Impreza turbo 5 door
Volvo V70R estate
Saab 9-5 Aero HOT estate
Now - Audi RS6 Avant

'New baby forces irresponsible car choices'!

On the positive side, it not going to rot - so dont worry :-)
My new toy is a DRY only car and lets say ive had it out for 2 hours in the last month - and it DOES rot.
