I found the GT86/BRZ a little over-hyped, but even I like this effort. I guess it gets better the simpler it gets. UK spec versions just looks so chintzy.

I'd really like to have one. Fit some additional lighting to the front, some suitably grippy, but good in all-weathers tyres and it would be a great back-roads, DIY-rally car, driven as the makers intended.

I wonder if there is a good bike carrying solution for it? Having said that, it would probably fit a couple of bikes in the back anyway.

RA will be a good base for modifying but I think you guys that like it on the steel wheels (that are meant to be replaced) are mental.

Done! I managed to get a downhill bike in the back of a GT86 press car relatively easily late last year. See pics. I'd have taken the back wheel off too if it wasn't such a bloody faff but I reckon a couple of XC bikes with quick release wheels and single-crown forks might just about fit inside if you took all the wheels off.

Begged/borrowed that one but, yes, it's a beaut. A big old beast though and not an easy one to fit inside a car given the wheelbase and length of the forks so I was impressed that the GT86 swallowed it. I've seen folk fit bikes in the back of Caymans too, FWIW.
