Yeah they sold loads of them, if you want a Corsa and want it to look fast even if it's not, then by all means get the VXR styling pack. Badging it up as a VXR and trying to pass it off as the real deal is a bit sad though.

I have seen a few fakes recently, the best example is a white E60 which looks like an M5 down to the vents etc and is badged up as one but its actually a 525 auto. I really don't see the point in going to such lengths when any petrolhead with a hot hatch could try it on at a traffic light gp and expose you as a moron.

I think its what people can afford and what they dream of and aspire too.
I dont think its that bad. I was guilty of it. Not ashamed of. If you are prepared to spend what little money you have to make your car look special then you are a petrolhead. You have dreams.
As i became older insurance became cheaper and i got to a position where i could insure anything.
Just a shame im an old fart in flash cars.

They seem to be everywhere. M318s, S4 TDis and even Corsa Type Rs (I wish I was joking).

I also saw a fairly bog standard A4 the other day with a misaligned and misplaced s-line badge rolleyes

Surely they do it to impress non petrolhead girls, work colleagues etc

My Dad deals in weird and wonderful cars and when my sister went to Uni her flat mates were impressed by the Countach at the top of their road.

My sister pointed out the Q plate, wheels, brakes, wheel arch gaps etc were wrong from a distance and loads more points close up.

The 18-20 yr old boys didn't even know kitcars / replicas existed.
