Could there not be a thread set up to ask car salesmen for deals on new and used cars? Sort of like the opie oils thread that is pinned? That would be useful and a way for people to 'potentially' get better deals?
Eg. I need car x this age etc, is there anyone that could sort me out a deal?

We've had four attempts now and every time someone comes along Fing and blinding at car salesmen/ women, and acts like a dog with a bone when we ask them to leave it alone.

It's so tiring to see time after time and I have no doubt this will go the same way. It's a shame, I agree, but hopefully those that spoil it can learn from their absence.

I miss the thread as well, was always a good read and seeing how the various people from different marques got about.

Shame it got pulled, but as Garlick has said, maybe those who keep ruining it will eventually learn.

I don't think any of us minded them. I did loads of HPI checks for people.

It was the people telling us how shyte we are at our jobs and how much better we would be if we followed their advice etc etc ad infinitum that got a bit annoying....
