Asians and Bentleys

What is it with Asians and the Bentley logo? I'm a graphic designer and whenever our Asian clients ask me to design them a new logo, what transpires is that they actually want me to (blatantly) rip off the Bentley logo and replace the 'B' with their initial.
Right now it's a solicitor asking this. You'd think a solicitor would know better than to rip off someone elses IP.
This isn't a one off case either, this is a regular occurrence.
I don't get it
So is Aston Martin owned by Asians then? Right now it's a solicitor asking this. You'd think a solicitor would know better than to rip off someone elses IP.

(I do actually know the answer to that question, I don't want to have to use a woosh parrot)
As a fellow graphic designer on a almost daily basis you get clients asking
"can you do something inspired by this"
then they show me some guff they nicked off a rival companies website
what they mean is "copy it and change it enough so they won't know"
Then you have to explain the laws of intellectual property
they look at you like you're explaining the meaning of life
I find Asians want something in English in an Asian script which nobody will be able to read

Pixel Pusher, do you have any experience with Wacom tablets? Thinking of getting one
Indeed. Wacom Intuos 5 at work A3 size but they go down to A5 I think. Quite pricey as they are industry standard.A great introduction is the Wacom Bamboo, again about A5 size and comes with all you need (tablet, lead, pens, spare nibs & software) for about £50.
I have one for home. Takes a bit of getting used to if you've never used one before and if you're doing more graphic stuff like Illustrator or CAD etc., you may find the mouse more exact, but for Photoshop (and I guess) most other brush based software, they are a must have.
Intuos 5 has a feature that works with photoshop where you can rotate the screen view if you are brushing in arcs so it's more comfortable.
They even have a version called Cintiq where you draw directly onto the screen. Mega bucks though.

Let me knowhow you get on?

I ordered a Bamboo earlier for £40 from Amazon to have a dabble but then saw the cintiq12 for £450 and was tempted to buy it right then and there, the reviews aren't too favourable though.A great introduction is the Wacom Bamboo, again about A5 size and comes with all you need (tablet, lead, pens, spare nibs & software) for about £50.

I mostly want it for pen tool related stuff in Photoshop because using the mouse can be painful at times.
