My V6 has those wheels, likey likey Shame it has to go, I don't know why you've SORNed it though, there are plenty of GTV twin sparks around for under £1k, and yours being SORNed and thus un-driveable will put off any buyers? Not least because whatever price you ask for it, they'll have to stick another couple of hundred to it to tax it?

I've just SORN'd my Alfa GTV Twinny so that I can get it ready for sale
Why would you SORN a car to sell it? It's not going to impress buyers when you say, "we can't take it out for a drive because it's got no tax disc". Cancelled the insurance as well?I also need to spend a few weeks tidying it up, the exhast has cracked so I need to get it off the car and replaced or repaired. No point in wasting money whilst its just sat on the drive.

OP- if it's that big a deal, why not keep it? It's not costing you anything in depreciation (unlike the Saab!) and it sounds as though to you this car is irreplacable (unlike the Saab!).
Shop around for 'Cherished' car policies with specialist brokers and you can probably insure it much cheaper than have been with limited miles.
