Alfa GTV by kieranpbennett, on Flickr

Life won't be the same....
My V6 has those wheels, likey likey thumbup

Shame it has to go, I don't know why you've SORNed it though, there are plenty of GTV twin sparks around for under £1k, and yours being SORNed and thus un-driveable will put off any buyers? Not least because whatever price you ask for it, they'll have to stick another couple of hundred to it to tax it?

I've just SORN'd my Alfa GTV Twinny so that I can get it ready for sale cry
Why would you SORN a car to sell it? It's not going to impress buyers when you say, "we can't take it out for a drive because it's got no tax disc". Cancelled the insurance as well?
As it was done for financial reasons I couldn't afford to have two insurance policies running together just so I could keep the car taxed. The stupid world we live in means it has to be insured or SORN'd.... If you have a better solution please let me know.

I also need to spend a few weeks tidying it up, the exhast has cracked so I need to get it off the car and replaced or repaired. No point in wasting money whilst its just sat on the drive.

I traded my beloved, reliable 350Z for a Puma to save money and the Puma has cost me £700 in various repairs. It also doesn't feel like a car that is built to last either.

I do regret it.

How much do you think it is worth. Mine is a couple of years newer looks the same as yours with 100k on the clock and no faults except the A/C and I think on a good day it's probably worth £700, with long tax and MOT.

OP- if it's that big a deal, why not keep it? It's not costing you anything in depreciation (unlike the Saab!) and it sounds as though to you this car is irreplacable (unlike the Saab!).
Shop around for 'Cherished' car policies with specialist brokers and you can probably insure it much cheaper than have been with limited miles.
