It has a Peugeot engine and was designed by Rover......
And it's built in Britain....

All those onlookers, several 4x4s and nobody thought to find a rope and pull it onto dry land before it got washed away?

If I'd have been there in my Land Rover I'd have got it hooked up and dragged out of harms way as soon as I realised what was going on. The guy is very lucky his car was still there when he got back.

My car was built in 2007 and is therefore a 57 plate. Whilst not new its hardly a banger!

And when I brought it the salesman explained it was a bmw without the flashy badge. Did you know bmw design and make bmw's?

Not even sure where to start with this one.
I now have a mini, and it's a great car. German engineering!

However I've also had a renault, a peugoeot and a vauxhall. All of them were junk and I ended up either writing them off or selling them for scrap.

My advice to everyone is to go for a german car. They are very well built. Diesels are very good these days, but I went for a petrol mini as I could not afford the diesel.

You won't go wrong if you follow that advice.
There is a strong smell of wee wee and I think this poster is taking it.

Yeah I'm a car salesman and that's the thing we'd probably say to someone to flog them an over stylised, under engineered wannabe BMW.

So yours does have a PSA engine?

You are a credit to your proffession with comments like that.

I don't know. Mine has a 1.4 chain driven engine, it's nippy around town, but is not great on the motorway. It has stop start and is quite economical.

You BOUGHT it, not brought.

I can't understand how people don't see the difference...

I can easily ignore the rest of your grammatical and spelling issues, I'm far from perfect in that respect myself. I can even ignore the fact the you keep completely missing the point but for the love of all that's mighty and my own sanity please learn the difference between bought and brought!

He means he bought it home, obviously.

He's actually improving a little, can we keep him a little longer before deciding? Or do we feed him to the ghost of CW7 now?

I've had mine nearly two months and nothing has gone wrong.

It only needs servicing every two years - so you can literally ignore it for that long apart from an mot. You don't have to worry.

At the end of the day, many people can't afford prestige german cars - but for those that can they are amazing.
