Being a family man now, this is my two car combo. (with the wifes car in the background....)

I accept this is not necessarily a PH dream combo - but suits our needs.

I think two car garage work best when the two cars act as 'opposites' of sorts. Perfect 2 car garagae

Large comfortable GT, modern comforts, look slicker than panther in shades

60s racer for fun

In the real world, I hope to make my MR2 my daily, and a Series 1 Elise as a toy, ASAP!

Lotus Excel & 1250CC CDTI corsa!

Once necessitated the other, I'm not sure you could really get two much more different cars. To the extent that I nearly put a sticker on the steering wheel of the Corsa reading 'This is not a Lotus' to remind me when I was driving country roads in it!

worked well together though!

We've got a multi vehicle line up that ticks the many boxes we need.

Wife has a clubman cooper-s as our "nice" car. It gets used by her for work and by us for family stuff.

I have a cheap avensis estate for more messy family stuff like walks on a rainy day and for me for taking the mountain bike out, and also for runs to b&q and the tip.

In the garage i've got an mx5 with some track oriented mods.

The garage also houses my suzuki bandit 1250 that gets used for commuting, and my vfr that gets wheeled out and polished and ridden on sunny days.

To this i'm adding a (cheap) caterham for racing next year, so the mx5 may be sold in the spring.

I'd also like to add a motorhome but they're so damn expensive!

The avensis may be replaced with a bigger diesel estate or people carrier next year.

It never ends!!!

If we're being fairly sensible then I'll go with a 964 Turbo S and an RS2 for the dog and bikes

With a limitless budget a 250 SWB and a new Alpina B3 Biturbo would do it

The combination of the two suits me pretty well. The BMW is smooth and comfortable with room for carting the kids round and the Mazda is more involving and nimble.
Great combo,covers most bases.

Ive trimmed five cars down to two,a 2.8 Capri and Alfa Gtv, not really the best gelling combination.

Lightweight sports car - Lotus, Caterham, Ginetta, etc - and a large comfy estate barge. Big engine and auto box but not an AMG/RS/M barge, though, no need for "sporty".

Toy and daily in one picture being a 2001 Golf GTI and a 1980 Austin Mini smile

It's not the best but as a 21yr old student its all I can justify at the moment I will probably upgrade the golf to something around the £7-£10k mark next year but I will never sell the mini.

been there, done that, got some pictures...

The Porsche was the practical half of the equation (!)

Athough the current coupling is duller, I can get 8ft lengths of timber in the Golf, and its only 50 BHP down on the Porsche (such is progress).

My current cars.

Hilux for long distances, on crap roads (and off roads) and huge storage.
It's a 4 litre V6 and had full leather etc. So it'a pokey and comfortable.
Will happily carry 4 people with luggage anywhere.
Will tow a trailer with no issues.

HSV for the noise, performance and track use.
More of a 'look at me' car for the weekends.
Will still transport 4 in comfort.

Currently running a Cayenne Turbo and a C6 Corvette.... together they both fulfill pretty much all my needs.
