There's going to be big competition for this segment in the year to come.
Alfa SUV (C3?), new Q5, X4, Caterham (renault based big.... maybe), Jaguar C-X17, RR Evoke, new Mercedes GLA, also if I dare say in the same catagory Tiguan and XC-60.

I quite like the interior in that colour combination. Shame about the outside.

If only the RR Evoque had engine options like that. I expect these will sell like hot cakes.

It's sort of OK, but over-fussy IMO. Can't decide whether I like the side blades either.

only 1860kg... that's positively featherweight smile

BMW 7 series weighs in at just under 2300kg in top spec

Yet another pointless and overweight SUV horror; doubtless it will sell by the million. No accounting for taste...

That's what I was thinking. Even the 2014 RR Sport is 2150kg

A good looking car and I think more sensible pricing compared with previous Porsches.

Overweight?

A 5 series touring is 1895kg and that's without 4WD!!!

All they have are low power, very thirsty engines.

Presumably not many will get sold in Newcastle.

Indeed, they've dragged it down towards the weight of an original two door Range Rover..........

Blink at the options list and it will be a £50K car.

I think that looks great, although I seem to be in the minority who also like the Cayenne. Pricing seems reasonable given the performance on offer

Blink at an Evokes Option list and it is 50k
Blink at an X3 option list and it's 50k

Pricing looks reasonable

Can't help wondering where the fast diesel in the range is. Perhaps that will come later...

Just been on the Porsche configurator and the problem is it needs 20" wheels to look decent. On sensible 18s it looks guff.

So the 'Turbo' model is the one that has a turbocharged engine. As opposed to the other models, which have....... turbocharged engines.

Will fly out of the showrooms! The RR Evoque really does need a sporty model now in its line up though, a 3.0 V6 S from the F-Type would do nicely!
