The one and only Audi RS2 Avant
Is that the one with all the Porsche bits on it?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_RS_2_Avant
Ultimate bragging was '0-30 faster than a Maclaren F1"!

Cheers, remember reading a bit about them in the magazines back in the day. Cup wheels and mirrors and all that caper. Looked good in flat blue.
Has to be blue! Happy memories!

My neighbour has a left hand drive 94 C4 S6 with a V8:-)
Would that be a blue S6 Plus? 300bhp instead of the 227 of the turbo-charged 5 in line car.Could I nominate some or all of the Alpina estates as future classics, from the E30 C2's, E36 B3's and B8's and E34/E39 B10 Tourings, and later B3 and B5 models - all pretty rare, especially so in right hand drive.
Edit for shameless picture whoring.....

Just like my Dad classic 1976 estate. 3 door? 1.3 litre? and vinyl seats to burn my legs on when wearing shorts....
....and we used to have to stop to fill the car up with oil on trips to my grandparents in London (150 miles away!) because it burnt so much!

Love it! I prefer the late '70's version. Watch any early 80's American tat on TV and one of these would wobble up to a halt, the guy would get out and it would continue to rock on it's suspension for another 20 seconds. Must handle like a blancmange. For the definitive classic estate, I'd say W123, and the 280 being the pinnacle. Every premium estate car in the world can trace it's roots to this.
