Brown back in vogue???
Discussion
I rather like the newer shades of met brown/bronze/gold that are begining to appear again, and as said, so much nicer than a sea of black/silver/grey/white that fills streets and car parks these days.
Definately a 1970's hue though, I remember when the Ford colour palette was as full of browns and golds as there is grey/silver today.
Ford's Arizona Gold, Copper Bronze Met. and Roman Bronze were ace colours

A beige 500-Lardy is a summation of everything in a car that says, 'please, you go first, I'm retired and a I dribble a bit when I'm under pressure'. If this is the future of car style then next year we'll see the big Mini re-branded the Maxi and available in that sandy yellow colour BL used to like.Edit - mind you it hides the rust:

No, not lovely! It looks a little......, brown.
911s should be 'sharp blue', like the one I had. This was my first car and the one I taught my wife to drive in 20 something years ago. She's doing a hand stand on the beach because she'd just learned how to control the nasty rear end tendency of 1980's 911s
That's a great picture..911s should be 'sharp blue', like the one I had. This was my first car and the one I taught my wife to drive in 20 something years ago. She's doing a hand stand on the beach because she'd just learned how to control the nasty rear end tendency of 1980's 911s

I'm not a fan. There is a 1 series that I see in the train station in a brown colour and it's awful...it makes an ugly car look even more ugly.
Saying that the whole white car thing has been done to death and silver, grey and black are really, really dull. Not many seem to be willing to opt for a brighter / more interesting colout.
