Anyone who buys the dream cars we all see being tested already puts himself above the rest, even the finance bashers will admit that surely.

I heard you are taking up a Professor job teaching Man Maths, it's the natural step after some of the things you have managed to squeeze onto the family fleet I suppose.

Good luck with Drive +

Thanks for your work Chris, my personal favourites have been the Drive Videos with the F40 at Anglesey and also (strangely) the G63 AMG towing the Fiesta. I'll choose to ignore the MX5 video!

Best of luck in the future.

Good luck Chris. Just promise me one thing, that you'll stop saying how good the B8 S4 is. It's supposed to be a secret!

Liked the presentation, liked the reports, liked the videos but it all went to st when Youtube cut the funding. I would have preferred to see CH leave the /Drive muppets instead.

Chris, I'm the tall chap that you met at Le Mans (Thursday) just before you climbed into your Carrera in front of the garages. I appreciate that you probably had a million things on your mind yet still took the time to chat for a minute. Sorry I couldn't bring you any luck for the race but hopefully it's better for the future!

To the other PH'ers reading this, I'm probably going to end-up in threads with "cringeworthy" in the title but it was just refreshing meeting another car enthusiast that seemed like a normal person (unlike some at Le Mans)!

A sad day for my worktime reading!

Give us that second update on the Ducati before you leave...

I have watched some of the \drive stuff and it is always an interesting mix of cars and some great filming but just lacks something. Don't ask what because if I knew I'd be doing it. Maybe your increased focus will help it improve. Cheers for the PH stuff and good luck.

"Motoring journalism isn’t a serious job, cars aren’t a serious topic of conversation, and yet the deeply-felt emotions they trigger in people never fail to amaze me."

My sentiments exactly Sir, shame many of our peers seem not to recognize this fact and also how lucky they are to have the jobs they do!

I've enjoyed most of your pieces and they have helped me in my development as a writer.

I shall bid you a fond, Adieu!
