Are there any major road series left which require full production car homologation?

320si was one from more recent times, but unlike the ones in the OP it was not particularly desirable.

I get the impression that BTCC/DTM/WTCC etc. no longer require the competition vehicles to be so closely related to their road going versions. Shame.

Quite a few American cars got aero changes for NASCAR, but the suspension and engines were still complete junk. A long way from the fully aeroed and hemi'd Superbirds of the 60s!

DC5 & FD2 were both available to order direct from the factory as stripped-out shells, ready to be race-prepped. There were no VIN plates and were stamped 'For Competition Use Only'.

I go one for the wife 18months ago. Cracking car. Not fast, but great handling and even sounds quite good as it passes 6.5k.
