RE: Bentley Bentayga - official
Discussion
You have millions of euros budget all the resource you can throw at it from VAG group and that is the best they can come up with!!!
Looks like a Lexus with Bentley camouflage.
Butthe tasteless elite will buy it no doubt as they will buy anything as long as it has a badge and shiny bits.

I have to say that when this was first talked about and pictures appeared a few years ago I thought that it was God awful but I've gone full circle. Yes it is bloody ostentatious but I love that something like this is being build in this eco-friendly age that we live in and the acceleration times are unbelievable for a house on wheels.

+1 although I haven't liked Bentley styling since the Arnage. Any recent work on sharpening the corporate face with the facelifted GT has been undone by this. A half-hearted attempt at tacking a corporate front onto an existing platform namely the new Q7. Reminds me of the Chevy Trailblazer / Saab 9-7 mash up.
This is a quote on their website in the description of the EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept...
The words of Sang Yup Lee, Bentley’s Head of Advanced Design, say everything: "When I judge a sports car, I have a simple logic. Unless you fall in love with it at first sight, the car is a failure."
...Surely that "logic" can't be restricted to just their sports cars in a company like Bentley? So what the f*** happened?!?!

There will be no doubt that this will be a fabulous car to drive and live with ..... as long as you approach from the side or 3/4 rear
The front styling leaves an awful lot to be desired. It's dreadful although on a positive note it will not be mistaken for anything else!
Interior looks great and it will at the top of the drivers charts before long
Pity about the front though

Predictable responses from the Luddites as usual.
It seems like most people here want to go back to the days of manual chokes and leaded petrol. It's so tiresome reading the comments.
Indeed. It looks a lot better than the show car from a couple of years back.It seems like most people here want to go back to the days of manual chokes and leaded petrol. It's so tiresome reading the comments.
It certainly looks like a relative of the Audi Q7, but if it keeps British people in jobs, why not?
Lets let the market decide if its a success - there's definitely a market for which a Range Rover isn't upmarket enough.
But not on PH, obviously.
It looks absolutely awful and will attract the most tasteless of customers. This is a good thing, however, as it should hopefully lead to fewer Range Rovers with body kits - they'll buy this instead.
Is it really the fastest and most powerful SUV in the world, though? Surely the (also deeply ugly) new Tesla thing will beat it on all but V-max?
