E46 M3. Not even a Contest IMHO
Second that! Will do everything op has requested with a factory de limit/remap.
DB9, Lamborghini Espada or one of the many Ferraris imo, probably a 550 in TdF over cuoio.
Heathens.
0-60 is irrelevant, its a GT car, its sole purpose is to whisk you and your partner away to the south of France with minimal fuss and ensuring that you get to Monaco in a calm and relaxed state.
An M3? really? this does pretty much everything the OP asked and will ensure you make a nice subtle entrance to Casino Square...

Disagree about the acceleration thing..... A car with big performance makes long distance driving so much more relaxing. Cruising along at a nice 90+....Someone pulls out, down to 60mph and then getting back to speed quickly, or being able to overtake easily, makes life much easier. 0-60 is irrelevant, its a GT car, its sole purpose is to whisk you and your partner away to the south of France with minimal fuss and ensuring that you get to Monaco in a calm and relaxed state.

But it's a bit less convincing when it's maybe 5.7 sec vs 4.4 sec, despite the op specifying sub 5 sec.
And lets not forgot, a lot of today's impressive 0-60 stats are due to big fat tyres, launch control and the high speed auto gearboxes.
The 40-120mph times are likely not so different from cars that might clock a second or more slower on the 0-60 sprint.

Not sure on the range, but I'll be the first to nominate the TVR Cerbera.
300mile range at 85mph on the toll roads with toll booth pull aways. Comfy seats, huge boot and attracts attention as it's not common. 250 miles is about the time fora toilet stop after getting off the ferry. However if we're talking in the UK, then generally the traffic is ste, you'll never get to do a decent average speed unless you travel overnight, so any boring automatic diesel will do.
