Bike rack option on a Renault Modus, the bike rack slotted into the bumper; great idea, wrong car.

Unfortunately Renault and the marketing bods got the Modus spectacularly wrong; aimed at cool young people who surf and mountain bike, when in reality was purchased by and ideal for; the blue rinse brigade, I could have saved Renault a massive chunk of money if they'd asked me who the Modus should be aimed at!!

Only seen one and it was on a launch car.

Duster Black Edition; not quite factory fitted additions but options added to an already built Duster.

Based on mid spec Ambiance with the addition of a matte black wrap, hideous alloys, Kenwood stereo/sat Nav and leather; for an additional £5500; a real WTF moment, I've never seen one.

Also there was an option of a Duster with a towbar, trailer and a quad bike; never seen one or been asked about one.

Sports body kit on a Sandero; why?! Our sister branch has a courtesy car with this option, only because they were auto issued with a Sandero in that spec, which didn't sell (oddly!!).

air cooled seats are far too rare an option, they should be mandatory like airbags and abs

EP3 Honda Civic Type R leather interior.
I'm going to be a bit of a geek here, and say that both the Leather and aircon options were dealer fit rather than factory fit options.
I only remember being offered the air con, which as you say, was dealer fitted. Wouldn't have wanted leather, to be honest, I loved the alcantara.

I want this is the next car I get along with extended leather HUD ACC and ceramic brakes and lane departure plus the auto anti accident feature where the car will emergency stop if it notices the car in front is stopping hard / could save an accident

I love my cooled seats. I use them far more often than the heated seats.

My Mk2 Focus ST-3 had the built in touch-screen 'command centre'.

What's that? You didn't know that was even an option? I don't blame you. I've looked at hundreds over the years and never seen another one with it.*

i wondered if they just retrimmed the cloth interior with leather. but nope, after googling, its a different seat. probably added them as uprated interiors into lower model civics lol.

Lexus RX400h Rear Seat Entertainment Package

These were a hideously expensive package in the RX, and the 2009 Limited Edition Executive I am looking at has it.

Its the later package, not the silly Rosen reps, these are the proper mutt's nuts. It is resistant to shake and all the other bullst you hear , but boy is it better than the horrible cheapo Chinese DVD headrests that someone added to my RX

The car itself

A Puegeot 306-gti6 Rallye, the most stripped out hardcore factory option 306 (manual windows and everything)....with air conditioning.

25kg of unexessary extra weight that didn't work anyway because the stupid placement of the the pipes meant they rotted through very swiftly.

BMW E39 5 series integrated sun blinds. Specced them on my company car when the kids were small, so much more convenient that the stick-on versions.
