My brother was in charge of the interior, he seems quite happy about it! looks pretty awesome.
As well he should be. That's one of the best interiors I've ever seen and a master class on how to integrate screens. MB/Audi I'm looking at you...DoctorX said:

I dislike the design of the lower rear skirt. The same 'wedgie' feature appears on the RRS, presumably to visually pinch the rear, but it is even more prominent here and the way it cuts the pipe vents is a touch inelegant.
But I'm sure there'll be an option to have it painted black / body coloured? Either that, or a vey expeensive 'Sport Design' type of lower body treatment.

We've already taken a coupe of orders on the Velar. The first was last month before official launch. There is a definite opening for the Velar. Our most popular selling Evoques' are the SE Tech and HSE. The latter tends to top out around the £45,000 mark with options. The £40,000 tax banding is going to bring some Evoque customers down a trim level to save on the VED, whilst it's a big call to jump to a £50,000 HSE Luxury (or more for an Autobiography) given the market perception of the Evoque and the compromises in terms of cabin space and boot etc. We have lost customers elsewhere because there isn't a Range Rover product in the £45,000 - £60,000 banding.
