Out of complete curiosity, what does it need for that increase?
A vivid imagination.

Regards the front end of the 2018 - when I first saw it in Orange Fury I thought it was horrible compared to the current one. However having seen a few pics in darker colours and it looks great.

Also, those who have seen in the flesh have almost universally loved it. I don't think it photos well.

It went round the corner, did not kill the spectators and did not burst into flames.

Best comment of the day, it sounds like a Spitfire and looks so flat and composed. Was not pushing it simply as there is no room for error but oh my it was awesome fun. smile

Gibbo please correct any inaccuracies, but I think it's predominantly a GT350 cold air intake, throttle body and inlet manifold, plus tune.

Not wishing to sound like an internet stalker, but his thread over on the Mustang forum is well worth a read to see the upgrades done (suspension in particular). Very honest appraisals of what's worked and what hasn't, and cheaper routes to achieve similar gains.

As you may have guessed I'm considering one and love the plethora of after market options available, and particularly the costs. For example an exhaust for one of these is not much over a grand, in comparison I was debating an M6 recently and looked at exhausts for one of those and it was about £6k!
Got a link to the thread?

That is correct: The GT 350 CAI, 350 TB and 350 IM will take you from 410HP upto 475-515HP depending on which tuner/fuel you use.

Handling wise, its being a while since I wrote my guide but now I'd simplify it even more and just recommend following:
- Pedders or KW V3 Coilovers which is £800-£1500 fitted, Pedders cost less and positive reviews.
- Steeda Rear shock top mounts: £200
- BMR CB005 cradle lockout: £200
- 15mm rear Eibach Spacers and 25mm front Eibach Spacers (if keeping stock wheels)

The above will sort the stance, ride height and vastly improve the handling whilst improving ride quality and you should be able to do it all for under £2000. smile

I wish you could buy a Mustang or a Camero without all the touch screens and other electronic gimmick's....is it really asking too much for a basic high output model?

So yes, for what must surely be the first time ever, the automatic is the fastest accelerating Mustang on sale. Which must be quite galling if you care about drag racing.

You know most sportsman drag cars use a torque converter and manually shifted auto transmission?
Quite a few pro classes do also (Pro Mod, Top Methanol) - 3 speed Rossler transmissions and the like. To add some confusion, there's the Brunodrive route (Lenco transmission bolted to a converter). The crux of it is that auto boxes are rather good in most drag racing applications.
