When half of all performance cars in 2017 either use the VAG 2.0 4 pot or 4.0 V8 - frown

Eh? Pretty sure it's only VW, Audi, Bentley and Lambo that use these for their real performance cars (Porsche 911s don't). You can still choose high performance cars from McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini (the ones with V10 or V12 engines), Audi (R8), Mercedes, Porsche, Chevrolet, Ford (Mustang, GT, for example), Lotus, Alfa Romeo etc if you don't want to be limited to just VW, Bentley this single Lambo and a few Audi models.

Absolutely awful, a travesty to their heritage, SUVs are a pointless market niche

The only car of this type I'd have besides a Range Rover SVR. Can't wait to see these about.

From my quick glance, I'd say it's arguably one of the best looking SUV's ever made. That said, to me it's very clearly an SUV though, somewhat anonymous (compared to other Lamborghini's). A lot of people wouldn't look twice, unless it's in a bright colour. I might not even notice it on my Monday morning drive into London. You can bet I always notice all the other supercars though.

For when the BMW X6 just doesn’t say wker loud enough. wink

On a separate note, are the optional wheels at 23” the largest available on a new car? I can’t think of anything that could match or beat that.

Perhaps the ultimate daily for those that have “arrived”.

This will sell sell sell.

Disjointed and dull design (for a Lamborghini). Oh, in case you hadn't spotted them, the rear door handles stick out from the rear wheel arches, which is totally inelegant.

Expected so much more from Lamborghini. Disappointing

So Lamborghini is now officially the 'posh Seat' of the VAG group then...

Styling wise that’s a fairly impresssive job they’ve done. Struggling to figure out how such a big car appears to have less rear leg room than my Citigo though.

Love it and if the extra income helps Lambo survive to make even more outrageous super/hyper cars then what's everyone moaning about? You don't have to buy the f3ckin thing!

Lambo defo stepping up a level.

Delivered the world's fastest supercar last year (at the time) and now the world's prettiest and fastest SSUV this year.

Aventador for the weekend and Urus for the boarding-school run.

Impressive stats for sure and it's certainly striking, but is it really an SUV? Just my opinion, but it has a more of a giant hatchback vibe going on.

Yeah, I know, the lines between car categories are getting increasingly blurred, not that that really matters of course; it'll appeal and will probably sell in decent numbers - I'm sure new owners will be delighted with it.

Wonder how fast this has gone round the 'ring?
