Rare versions of common cars

Being as this is Pistonheads, where pedantry matters... you won’t find an e92 335i estate anywhere, ever.
E92 is the coupe, E90 is the saloon and E91 is the estate.
Phew.E92 is the coupe, E90 is the saloon and E91 is the estate.
I was about to say that

The 320Si is pretty rare and I quite like the idea of it
They are lovely. Shame the engine is terrible.E90 335i and E91 335i are both rare, especially in facelift (LCi ) form.
I always see figures floating of only 15 manual E91 335i LCis and around 50 of the E90.
Base level trim spec cars with the best petrol engine are surprisingly rare.
There are 25 Mondeo 1.5 Ecoboost in the base 'Edge' spec, 17 Octavia 1.8TSIs at the base 'S' trim level, and just 3 Leon 1.4TSIs at base spec. All three of these engines are in their thousands at mid level trim options.

The saloon version of the Mk1 Ford Focus comes to mind, I've only ever seen a handful of them ever, usually driven by really old chaps.
It must be because they're ugly as st and thats why so many were made.
I read on these forums that they only seemed to come in the entry trim level and Ghia, eliminating a lot of possible sales. They seem to have been more popular in the Republic of Ireland as I occasionally see them on ROI plates. Of all the Focus saloons I've seen, the second-generation Focus (think 2005-ish) is the one I can only remember seeing once.It must be because they're ugly as st and thats why so many were made.
Vauxhall Insignia saloon. It looks pretty much the same as the hatchback but it isn't. Compared to some cars on here I'd guess a decent number of these exist but the odds of anyone actually noticing are bound to be low.
