had one of these for 7 years s a daily. great cars. literally never missed a beat in all that time. practical, fast, fun to drive. great noise. terrible fuel consumption (<25 real world). hurt my back on a long journey though - not very comfortable for me at least . sold in the end purely for something bigger and more comfortable. miss it a lot though.

I sold my Legacy last week after owning it for a few months. Couldn't get on with the heavy clutch, and I didn't have the time or resources to sort it out. So it was sold.

Ever since then all I see are Subaru adverts on the TV, on the internet, everywhere. There's more on the road now I swear.

I KNOW! I KNOW! I know I shouldn't have got rid of it. Stop rubbing it in!!!!

Brave pills required I think. eek
You dont really need brave pills at that price, if it starts stops and goes, doesnt smoke, clank or expire ont he test drive its probably ok, and if it screws up, its worth decent money as a parts car.

Or do you mean going to Scotland ?

Top, top shedding - best shedding in absolutely ages. Oh, and I'm from Ireland - zero offence taken to anything whatsoever!

It's cheap because by the next Mot the rust will likely be £££s to fix. Interesting that it managed to do 250 miles without an Mot!!

These models really are rotting badly now, but I guess if it lasts until next year ....

Unbelievable shed for the money. Assuming everything works as it should, surely the only way you could go faster than this for £1200 would on a bike?

I had an ‘04 saloon WRX PPP from new. From memory 265hp, 348nm and 0-60 in 4.8. I did several sprints and a trip to the Nurburgring in it, plus use as a daily driver and it never missed a beat. Sold 10 years ago after 80k miles and still miss it!

yes it's the law - blue scoobies have to have gold wheels.

When I was doing trade plate movement of cars to auction we had about half a dozen scoobies over 6 months .
Not one of them completed the journey under their own power . A couple of them went bang in spectacular fashion , especially the one that left most of its engine and all the contents of its sump in the R/H bore of the Dartford Tunnel.
I am pretty brave with sheds but it's a no from me .

Performance turbocharged car being disposed of via auction goes bang.... who'd have thought? wink

Isn't the fuel pump on a non-sti WRX PPP just a regular WRX fuel pump?

Looks great and nearly 10 months worth of an MOT too. Can't seem to get up the MOT history though.

I think they were upgraded as part of the package. Used to be backbox, map and fuel pump.

They fled in a Subaru Impreza, driven by a third man, that had been stolen from Hillingdon Avenue in Whitefield on Tuesday 15 January. At the time of yesrerday's robbery the car still had the original number plate - X337 KNA.

This is my car, now sold, but thanks for the help shed.
To the naysayers, it really is genuinely fairly rust free, the guy who bought it works in the local garage that does my mots, so he knows the car and wouldn't have bought it if rust was an issue.
It's been a fabulous car, and I will miss it.
Never knew about the armed robbery in 2005 though!

Replaced with a Cupra 300.
