That is hideous! Makes the senna look amazing though.

That rear close up shot reminds me slightly of a Noble M12 and the whole body reminds me of Lady Penelope's Rolls Royce, FAB1.

And may I ask, those rear view cameras that slide gracefully out of the body; are they compliant with rules concerning impacts on pedestrains etc? Surely to be confined to the 'good idea, but nah' bin.
Not that it matters, by the time this gets out and about our wonderful Governments will want us all to be driving around in cars powered fully by electrickety...
Now which would I prefer, the sandal-wearing, yoghurt-weaving, muesli-treading enviro-Mentalists getting their way and getting us all to drive round in the modern day version of a pony and trap, or some utter bonkers environment-chewing hyper car being allowed to prowl the earth?
Well, I don't like sandals, to give you a clue...

On the fence re: the design, but would be nice to overtake someone driving an F1 at almost 7mph faster. You'd have plenty of time to see how furious they look!

Is this the first production car with rear view cameras?

I think it looks fantastic, and can certainly see the XJ220 crossed with an F1 that others describe.

Just a shame the closest I'll ever get to driving one is looking at these pics laugh

XJ220 is one of my favourite cars of all time, but this looks hideous.

Fortunately (for mclaren)

A. I’m not the target audience for this at all.
B. They are all already sold.

Because in my opinion it looks awful.

Early '80s concept car looks - no, thank you, no matter how fast it is.
Yeah, reminds me of the Oldsmobile Aerotech cars from the late 80's.

Form following function no doubt but that doesn't stop it looking ungainly and badly proportioned.

I quite like it, although I appreciate why some don't like it.

Yes please! Gotta love what McLaren are doing right now, top of their game and pushing boundaries more than any other road car manufacturer.

I’ll have one of these, a Senna and a 600LT please. Now, about those lottery numbers...

Amazing looking car, agree with some that the front end styling could have been a braver though, a little bland compared to the rear.

I even like the front wheel covers, gives the whole thing a sense of singular purpose and reminds me of the BBS wheels fitted to the Porsche 956/962's which is no bad thing!

The front looks like they took a 650S and put body-coloured duct tape over 80% of the air ducts under the lights.

It’s interesting for sure and very different from the current hypercars.

Rear reminds me of a combo of an xj220, f1 longtail and some old coach built aerocar.

Hideously ugly, but from a technical standpoint it is awesome.

I wouldn't be surprised if this could hit 300mph with a shape like that.
