RE: Honda Urban EV production prototype for Geneva
Discussion
Production cars rarely look anything like concept cars they're based on. The original Urban Honda EV concept would've failed crash tests, safety Regs, cost a fortune to produce some of the panels & detailing etc which made it look so special etc. Similarly for the Alfa Brera & the original gorgeous Italdesign concept it tried to copy but failed. And don't even mention the Allegro....
I agree it does look a bit blobby but hats-off to Honda for having the balls to produce such a vehicle. You can't deny it looks like nothing else out there. I really hope it succeeds & they bring out the fabulous Urban EV Sport sister version they showed as a concept as well.

Wife's Clio is up for replacement this year. Urban EV has gone from one of the most promising new car prospects to gopping blob.
I'm finding Honda very frustrating at the moment. Civic is so good to drive you can forgive the awful looks, but shockingly bad infotainment / sound system was a deal breaker. When asked about it they say they're really happy with it.
Shot themselves in the foot twice in month for me.

Unfortunately it looks like it has been rounded off at the front, in 5 door guise (hopefully a 3 available) with terrible alloys.
There are some in the wild shots (albeit testing) here;

Genuinely interested in one of these but can see the price being circa £30k to challenge the mini hybrid.
