Hated the older Conti and Spur, love the new ones.
Agree, hated the old Bentleys, they looked fat and ugly and the interior was an obvious VW parts bin.

However the new ones are sublime, they look fantastic, the interiors are brilliant.

One point re: the article, it mentions the rear seats a number of times, and all about fridge and screens, but no pictures?

I agree the later design is much better, good that they've redesigned the interior too the old ones were just from the Phaeton okay a lot nicer and more expensively made but still from a Phaeton.
I'll be there in 10 years time picking one up for sensible money.

I'm not totally sold on the front, but the rest looks very nice indeed. How much to Uber Exec drivers make? Maybe an opportunity for a career change!

I think it’s seriously desirable this. And bloody handsome.

The interior is wonderful, for me this would probably be the perfect car. I think they’ve nailed it and wish them every success.

Fabulous looking car. I’d have one in that colour or maybe blue driving Interior looks sublime.

So the misses can have the GTC, I take the Flying Spur, still not able to stick the kids in a Bentayga...hideous. Hopefully Gen 2 will be more of a looker.

Bravo Bentley

I remember watching the Gen 1 Flying Spurs being built at the VW Phaeton factory in Dresden. Lots of robots zooming around.

Apparently they now only make electric Golfs there. Sign of the times, as Strawberry Switchblade used to say.

A beautiful crafted gorgeous two finger salute to all the tree hugging agenda driven EV car extinction activist climate change bell ends that want to take our glorious piston driven cars away.

If I had the funds a big Bentley would be on my drive.
Wanting to save the planet and everything on it from potentially irreversible climate change that could cause large parts of the world to become uninhabitable and impose famine and poverty on millions of others is having an 'agenda' now, is it? All those pesky scientists with 'agendas' too.

Of course, such activists and scientists might be wrong. Bit of a gamble just so you can roar about in a big car though, isn't it?

Looks fabulous from side and rear, not quite so much from the front. Still, one of the most desirable cars I’ve seen in a long time. The only thing I’d change is the quilted leather.

The one thing is the grille is just too wide and cheapens the car a little but I guess I could put up with it.

4 to 5 year old Flying Spurs can be had for around 50 grand.

Can't decide if they're good value or not.

Oh and another thing.

I can barely get my 5 series into most car parking spaces: work, supermarket, shopping centres.

How the hell do you park these and even open the doors once parked?
