Droop Snoot Firenza or, as a compromise, a Magnum 2300 Coupe or Sports hatch since only 204 Snoots were made
Chevette HS as I never liked my Astra GTE 16v
Probably a Carlton 3000 GSi although today's Insignia Gran Sport is said to be best in its class.
Magnum 2.3, my uncle had one whilst we were growing up, he sold it and then eventually bought it back, got a load of work done and then got rid again when it started getting crispy again, but think he regrets that and wants another.Chevette HS as I never liked my Astra GTE 16v

The coupe was a stunning looking car, and the 2.3 engine very grunty.
Always thought the Magnum/Firenza without the Droop Snoot was a better looking car, seventies version of the future versus the actual seventies look, RS2000 nose come was altogether more of a looker.

Probably rose tinted specs but i have very fond memories of all three.
I had a Nova GSi when i was 18 and loved it and had the cavi turbo not too long after and it felt like a spaceship at the time!
My dad had the senator 3.0 24v when i was about 15 and i thought it was amazing, made a lovely noise as well!

I've never had a Vauxhall but I have always lusted after many of their models for sure over the years.
If the rebadged Holdens are out, then this Vauxhall Firenza rebadged as a Chevrolet and with a V8 stuffed in must be in!
A South African homologation special, the Chevrolet Firenza Can-Am was built to compete with the V8 engined Capri Perana.

I'd happily have another Senator 3.0 CD 24v
Carlton estate, with either the 2.0, 2.6 or 3.0 engine, happy with them all.
And of course, a Vauxhall Rascal again.
I've had... 9 Vauxhalls in the past?
I enjoyed my Cavaliers at the time I owned them, similarly the Omega and the Nova, but they aren't ones I'd be desparate to own again. A quirky Cavalier 4x4 (but not the GSi or Turbo variants, the one with the 2.0 8v engine) would perhaps feature

I'd love a Lotus Carlton, but my mum had a normal Carlton for a while that I absolutely loved, so for reminiscent motoring, even a boggo 2.0 would do the job. (Bet I'd hate it these days!)
I think a fast Nova (I lose track of which is the one to go for out of SRI/GSI/GTE) for some retro fun and a Monaro VXR would complete my trio.

I'm discounting the Lotus Carlton and the VX as they are more Lotus than Vauxhall, but I'd have the Lotus Carlton in a heartbeat if it qualified.
I loved 80s performance Vauxhalls. Sadly, IMO they lost their way as they replaced these models in the 90s and beyond. I'd have a Nova over a Corsa, a Cavalier over a Vectra, Astra mk2 over a mk3 etc etc. The latest stuff looks nice though. The new Insignia is one of the best looking mainstream cars out there at the moment, especially as an estate.
Astra GTE 16v (always wanted a grey one but they were rare even when new)
Carlton GSI 3000 24v
And for old time's sake, a nice mk2 Cav SRI 130. I had an early 1.8 and loved it at the time. Went like the clappers, felt really well put together, and had a brilliant engine.
And one of these to keep them all on the road
