IIRC a while back someone rejected a Bentley Continental as it had been hung vertically on the motorshow stand.

Whilst I’m of the opinion that cars should, primarily, be for driving and not looking at, if I was going to hang a car on a wall it would be this:

It would be parked on a oak plinth in my double height entrance hall. For me to admire every day.

This would be complimented by my other ford GT that I would drive every day. The other ford GT that I would keep mint. And the other Ford GT that I would have the twin turbo conversion done for special occasions

Well if it's alright for Jo Bonnier...

I'd go for the Lotus 49.

Would find an old SM that was beyond restoring, have the body shell cut in two and have half the profile like this up in the wall.

Obviously my driving one would be in one of the garages of my modern Southern French chateau. smile

Hotel Motopark ( Motorsport Arena Oschersleben ) have done this with a Porsche mockup,

original shell, blackout windows, with wheels and exhaust tips :

Looks a bit weird and awkward. The room must have great height so the whole setup does not look too cramped.

Ferrari 350 P4 Can-Am, pure art by Drogo as good as anything by Da Vinci, Monet, Rembrandt or Van Gogh.

So many of these utterly beautiful cars would look utterly ste hung on a wall so all the curves and shapes disappear into a plan view...

Like the idea of sectioning a shell down the centreline, and mounting that however.

F1 car-7up Jordan I think

Road car, I have to say the Countach's square lines make it a good choice.
