I set off to work at just after 5am most days. Traffic is normally light and I often see the same cars somewhere along the journey.

Wednesday morning set off at the regular time, took me the best part 12 miles before I saw another vehicle of any description on the road. So I suggest there is a lot less traffic at present.

We live on a busy road in Solihull. Spent the morning washing cars and I'd say traffic was <50% of normal Saturday.

It’s not about the risk of the virus, what happens if you crash?
Do you really want to be in the hospital system right now?
To be fair, chances of a bad crash on one journey is pretty remote I’d say
Everyone thinks that and every day a few people come unstuck.

Roads were super quiet around plymouth this morning, a38 was dead. By 1 o'clock, i saw a metric st tonne of bikers out riding like bellends, speeding and undertaking on white hatchings.

Roads are quiet here (outside Aberdeen).

Yesterday i finished up at 4PM and took the bike out for the first time since September last year.

It was glorious, but only managed 40 mins out due to the low temps.

Going out again tomorrow if i can!

South East London (Eltham)

I live on a busy main road and here's what I've noticed over the past few days:

- traffic down to at least 50% of normal levels and at night it's virtually dead. Quite a few periods of "nothing" for up to a minute or so at times
- a distinct lack of police cars and ambulances with sirens and blues and twos going past
- on road parking outside my place is now about 25% utilised during the day. Normally, it's 100% utilised from 9am - 6pm
- I can more or less pull out immediately from our shared driveway. Usually it would take a good few minutes due to the continuous stream of cars going past.

We have a few boy racers out driving like muppets of an evening the other night and today about 20 bikers went past in convoy at warp speed (in a 30 limit).... Beginning to suspect the Ambulances will be needed to get those people out of ditches etc...

During the back end of this week my commute went from an hour and a bit to around 40 mins. Roads are empty, local retail park was quiet today, was basically like a weekday.

Wickes was buzzing earlier though, as was halfords, everyone stocking up on bits to get some jobs done!

My daily route from the London Gateway port takes me down the a13 to London, then North circular round too Wembley and down to Harlesden. Daily trip on average is 1 hr 45 - 2 hours in the lorry.

As the week went on I noticed it getting quieter, and on Friday the trip took 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Next week should be interesting.

Every 30 minute commute home I've seen at least one bananas over or undertake in the last week, definitely some liberties being taken by bellends.

Doom is real. Please if you are going out to enjoy some time alone and clear space, PLEASE do so responsibly. Now is not the time to test limits of car or bike.

There is no hype anymore, the wave is coming, please don’t be part of the problem.

Coventry seems slightly quieter than usual, as if it were in the middle of a weekday

Roads are very quiet round here, I drove from Coulsdon in Surrey to Ashtead at around 7am on Wednesday. That would usually be an hours drive despite being only 16 miles or so. Took me 30 minutes as there were cars around but nothing like the weight of traffic.

Technically you could go for a nice drive if people are staying indoors. Not sure you're doing any harm unless you're silly and hit a tree! haha

May be hearsay, but I am led to believe that petrol pumps are one of the leading areas for transmission of corona virus at the moment - so please wear gloves when you gill up, and wash your hands.

Deserted in mid Devon - pretty quiet normally but this is different. Just enjoyed driving the boxster, though restraint is needed with all these quiet roads!
