Where do I start. I can see the F1 a bit of GT 40 and a fair amount of Dyson in it.
The cabin is too bulbous and out of scale with the rest of the car. It is timeless in a way that the Jetsons mode of transport is. It does not compete with the offerings from the like of Lotus and koenigsegg.
It could wear a Kia badge quite comfortably.
I think the preoccupation to create a timeless piece of design is the problem.

So...you don't like it?

What’s the deal with the gearstick/gate? It looks like there’s only forward/backwards movement but it’s not a sequential manual is it?

Just to keep things grounded...I know someone who is working on the project. At home, from his 8yo son's bedroom while the missus home-schools the kids. That's an indelible image, every time I hear about this car.

Generic aero-based supercar looks and proportions aside... what n absolute marvel....one of the few cars I'd happily put aesthetics at the top of my 'must have' list.
Well done Gordon.
The new, money-no-object must have car.... SO refreshing compared to the EV-assist, auto everything, double the weight, units out there.

Massive Murray fan and love the engineering but on the aesthetic side it's mostly a no from me.

Front is as tad generic and not a patch on F1, the rear I just can't look past the fan and wish it wasnt there.

That said detailing is sublime and I dont doubt it's probably the very last of it's kind so happy it exists also can't wait to hear it.

ETA front is really let down by the headlamps, huge pods with tiny lights.

Looks like a dodgy Chinese copy of an F1.

If it didn't have Gordon Murray's name attached to it, this would get absolutely slated on here.

Can you imagine the abuse Lambo would get if they stuck that rear end on a car?
The large headlamps give the front a Mk2 MR2 look.
Nice side profile. Function over aesthetics which is perfectly understandable.

I'll have this to drive and an Evija to sit and look at.

Euromillions win tonight and I don’t care what it costs, I’m having one
To me it’s better resolved than the current crop of Ferrari’s and Lamborghinis etc
And I nominate Mr Murray for a knighthood, do t think any one can argue when they made Theresa Mays husband a member of the House of Lords for services to politics, and the cleaner at No10 gets recognised in the New Years Honours List!

Are you sure it is not his 8 year old son working on the project whilst he is schooled by his missus.

Not over struck on the looks. Rear wheels look like they are too small for the volume of bodywork. I also wonder how it is cooled. Very few air inlets for water, oil and HVAC.

Curry sauce AND garlic sauce on chips is disgusting. This is glorious - or slightly aesthetically challenged, depending on your preference

I thought the same thing, hope somebody can answer it.

I never thought the F1 was a great looking car, all about the driving experience (which I’ll never have sadly)

That's where it pivots. The exposed mechanism is underneath. If that makes sense.

Which Dyson though? Airblade? The ball hoover? The handheld?

I think it's absolutely lush. Gorgeous, and knowing what's in it (that V12, manual, under 1 tonne) only makes it more so. Just a shame you'll never see one on the road because they'll be in collections.
