This it baffling !!!!!!
Went to all that trouble, and for what, the same big goping grill? Redesign should been similar to the smaller Revenent grill, that’s what it always should have been.
I think that looks rubbish and old fashioned. The new grille is a step in the right direction but I had to double check the date of this article as you could already get a different grille from Aston?Went to all that trouble, and for what, the same big goping grill? Redesign should been similar to the smaller Revenent grill, that’s what it always should have been.

This appears to be a third design!

"I'd like to change the front of my Aston Martin; I just think my car's too ugly. I'd like something that's more me."
"Certainly sir. Any what kind would be more you?"
"Well, vane, obviously".
Delightful.
Not a fan then "Certainly sir. Any what kind would be more you?"
"Well, vane, obviously".
Delightful.
(I know it's a fail when I have to explain the punchline)

I think that looks rubbish and old fashioned. The new grille is a step in the right direction...It seems when things suit us, we tend to call them the right direction. However, when things do sell well globally, but somehow don't suit our taste, people here would call them the wrong direction.
To me as long as it sells, it's the right direction. Nothing worse than closed factories and unemployment...

Unfortunately the new Vantage has not sold well, either in the UK, or globally.
As a comparison, when the predecessor was unveiled in 2003, two years production was immediately taken up by eager buyers, before they had even sat in the car. Some dealers closed their order books.
Contrast that with the desperate loss-making, £1000 down and 23x£1000 PCP deals (incl. free servicing and free initial road tax) in December 2019, simply to shift unsold stock.
Presumably, many of those cars will return to the market in December this year.
The priority requirement for most Aston Martin buyers, has always been beauty.

Revenant Automotive offered the same thing last year.
Better solution in my opinion:
