And people mocked the Civic Type R for going into Haflords, this is 10 x worse.

I quite like it. But not in white.
The standard car is no looker so may as well make it look bonkers. Id opt out if the stupid exhaust. Prefer the standard.

It’s very JDM Tuner Special isn’t it, which looks very odd on a BMW.

Appalling, and one hell of a contrast to the Ferrari also in spotted today. I think they must’ve hired someone who used to work for Ripspeed.

What happened to classy looking quick cars?
You beat me to it. I was just thinking what happened to the class you associated with BMW M division over the years.

The wheels are OK but other than that there is nothing that doesn't cheapen it or make it look tacky. Stick on side spats are about as bad as it gets, a go faster stripe, and as for that rear bumper and exhausts, what on earth is going on.

"Hey Alexa, what does tacky mean?"

....

"I found this picture of a BMW M2 M Performance Parts on the internet"

Surely anyone over 11 would feel embarrassed to be seen in public in that?

Didn't think they could make the M2 look any worse but once again BMW deliver.

That's really an insult to all the great JDM specials.

They really dont help themselves do they?

And I suspect a lot of this additional tat only delivers marginal gains (if any) in terms of aero or perfomance.

After the last gen M4, the M Division have truly let the marketeers run the show (and demoted the engineers)

Just horrid

Was surprised to see an M3 with that performance exhaust a few weeks back. Looked as ridiculous in real life as it did in the pictures. Optically it just didn't work.

I'll be definitely keeping mine standard.... years back when I bought my Z3MC it had the Hamman body kit on it which I had removed immediately....

Bloody hell laugh

When you put this new M2 with all the stick on tat next to the old M2 CS, it's staggering how it got signed off.

I find it interesting we don't get a look at the rear bumper. BMW not wanting to admit that the "diffuser" and "vents" don't go anywhere and don't do anything

for us old people, if Tickford did a version of the M2 instead of the Capri, I'm sure it would look like this.......

Well, you would look a bit of a cock driving that thing!

The chav tow hook thing is the real mind bender for me, it basically highlights that their market seems to be the current Corsa brigade with all this stuff.

I can forgive the bronze wheels though, lovely!
Yes - this seems to be targeted at rich 20 somethings with poor eyesight, although I would argue that they now generally drive VAG rather than Corsas.
That's very true actually, market wise, it is the live at home with parents, call centre worker smashing the commission and spending 50% of their income on a lease or PCP deal.
