I think it looks absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way.

I think a side exit exhaust just before the rear wheel would have been a better option those massive rear exhausts look a bit ungainly to me.

Looks the bks, as above needs a better looking exhaust, 4 pipes preferably although someone will drop me some jive for that like the last time I mentioned it!

Hope it’s not at the FoS next month as per the subtitle as my tickets are for July!

So outrageous, they named it after a Golf model.

Stunning? As stunning as a Francis Bacon.

I agree. Absolute Halfords special but still appeals massively.

I don’t want to like it, but it’s outrageously fantastic. What is not to like. Will never be able to afford one, with limited supply, will be a good investment. Love it……

Superb this will be an epic car, jesus I'd settle for a GT350R let alone one of these.

GTD just makes me think of a middling diesel model. I'd actually love to see that laugh
Haha, I must admit I clicked on the topic half expecting to find Ford had stuck a 6.7L V8 PowerStroke diesel in a Mustang!

Never been a Mustang fan, always thought it was ugly.
I bloody love this model though, it is well proportioned for such an aggressive track car, I like everything about it.

That ticks many boxes for my 12 year old self.

The now slightly older 12 year old self is thinking 'how much!'

+1 for Bullitt green with matt pale bronze wheels, and a rear spoiler delete.

Weirdly, reminds me of an SG-SV. Not in a "separated a birth" way, but there's a resemblance...

With all its money, resources and power it still took America 20 years to come up with an answer to the MG XPower SV!

Good shout, would look cooler and presumably with side exit exhausts possible to have a more effective rear diffuser that can extend further forward to smooth air flow.

This looks amazing. It's what a GT3 programme is for in my book, building something equally incredible for the road.
