In order to register an imported car from Japan that is less than 10 years it needs to go through an ESVA. For this you need a model report which you hire. As far as I know there isnt one for this car yet as it involves a company such as Model Reports getting the car and performing a load of tests to produce the reports. You then need to hire this for the ESVA test.

So was this car actually registered in the UK then? If so I'd be interested in how he registered it too.

Not that I can afford one!

Is there only going to be an auto or sequential manual or whatever they call it? I wonder why there isn't a manual version?

I also don't think anyone has got round the GPS-controlled 112mph speed limiter yet either.
Mines have now got through the limiter IIRC.

About as non-poor as it gets. Startling achievement. A proper 'wow,' quite frankly.

it surprised me so much i made my bro (who was driving) go round the round about again to see it.

it was in watford...near the nissan hq (rickmansworth end). 100% it was the R35, i thought it may have been a press car but the colour was well poo.

Mines are already selling an ECU that will remove all the limiters.

Are you sure it wasn't the new skyline as oppossed to the GTR? The skyline name has been moved to the Infinity side of nissan with the new R35 just being called the GTR.

They don't actually sell complete cars. Just offer various packages to customers.

To the guy who saw an R35 in blue, look at the info on cars to buy in Japan. There is no blue for the GTR.

maybe... but the two cars don't really look alike and i spent a long time drooling on the press pics, although my eyes aren't great.. (gettin old etc) .... could have been the drugs.... open to any explanation really these days nothing surprises me.

i know they dont make a blue...yet (v-spec cometh) .. but they also dont make one in lambo orange...yet one exists.
