Mclaren vp11 spotted m3 this afternoon j8 area
Discussion
Spotted this same McLaren this morning (VP11.. assuming it's the same one?) on the A46 near Coventry. I was convinced I'd seen a black McLaren MP12-4C on the same stretch of road the other day but couldn't be sure.. but this morning saw it again at about 8.45am near Kenilworth.
Not massively keen on these cars "at a glance" but I have to say it did look very nice on the move!

The same car has just pulled into to services where I work near Stratford-Upon-Avon. Two guys in the car, they pulled up for 10 minutes or so. There were wires and sensors on the exhaust tail pipes, presumably emissions testing or similar?
Had a good look around it and I must say it is a great looking car, quite small for a supercar and nicely proportioned. Unfortunately didn't have a camera on me. Sounded great as it pulled away, V8 burbling on the over-run!

If it's a development hack there's any number of things they could be looking for. Heat/Vibration/Noise/emissions etc etcHad a good look around it and I must say it is a great looking car, quite small for a supercar and nicely proportioned. Unfortunately didn't have a camera on me. Remember the 458 spontaneously catching fire due to a design fault involving a heat shield?
Exactly.
