As sad as it is to say...but looking at the picture of this car and also the accident of the 911 / Golf in the Gumball and of course numerous other incidents, the 911 are remarkable for strength (survivability) for such a small car with these high impact speeds and forces in collisions.

We had a talk given by the accident investigation officer on this one - IIRC from what he said the length of the skidmarks suggested he'd been doing a speed of around 108mph when he saw the roundabout. His lad survived as he was wearing a seatbelt, but I think he said the driver wasn't wearing one.
