Just had a look in the classifieds and many to have auto transmission

thats a result for someone, G reg one of the last of them, a rare colour, and its had the cambelt done and the gearbox done recently so has to be an absolute bargain!

cruising along the motorway i could get mid 20's from my S4 auto in fact it seemed to be quite capable of doing 20 mpg from normal steady use. The flip side was push it along hard and you'll get low teens mpg.

My mates Dad had one, which he sort of mothballed back in the late '90's.

Decided to sell it around 2008, and Porsche offered £5k trade in value, if he paid to get the service up to date. Estimated bill to complete the service and all items due, £5k.

I'd only have one if I was very confident the Haynes Manual was accurate, had a fully equiped workshop and a supply of OEM parts at cost.
