Agree it's the least Porsche looking model for a while.

Can't help be disappointed it's still sort of a concept car though. I was envisioning them unveiling a new Carrera GT type model.

Head on view is very Ferrari like, don't you think?
Looks more Farboudish (or whatever it's called) to me.
AF10? The porsche has softer edges than that, and soooo much better looking!

Love the design. As people say, Ferrari and the front, Carrera GT at the back.

Fair play to Porsche for taking a technology that seemingly had petrolheads in their droves bemoaning the end of motoring as we know it, and turning it into something really quite desirable. Awesome.

Stunning design, the flux capacitor is a really nice touch by making it seem really special.. and it sounds like it goes like a train. Can't wait to see some reviews and tests of this thing.

Nice bit of CGI I suppose- what will the real car look like I wonder? A lot more like a race car and a lot less like the concept-car in those renderings.

Absolutly + fking + Stunning

I think that just about covers it.

But i see some MP4-12c in the design too.

Wow! Actually an attractive looking porker!

Guess they finally, FINALLY listen to input from the public about how funking ugly Porkers are!

With regret they appear to have simply copied a Pininfarina design.... do they have a new Chinese design engineer??

No, the one that Ginetta are now producing. I think it ended up being called the GTS?

There is a real car - There'll be proper pics of it as soon as the snaps start coming in from the Detroit show. If you're lucky, we might even post some up on PH.... wink

As for it not looking like a Porsche, you have to dig further into the archives and to me it looks quite a bit like the 904...

Some will no doubt say that the marketing department have done another disservice to heritage by drawing too many references to the legendary 917 but for the moment, I'm just going to ignore all of that and revel in all that is great about this new car!

I can see 360, noble and something else in there..
I see quite a few things ...

Front end just looks like it's lifted straight off the F430.
Read end looks like a bit of Lexus LFA and it looks like the rear lights are a combination of Maserati & Audi ...

Still quite awesome looking thing though!

It's interesting that most comments are about the appearance of the car rather than the technology under the skin.

I want to know if it more efficient to use the electricity generated by regenerative braking to spin a flywheel or use it to charge supercapacitors.
