Do you really think that's his car or is it a German press photo?
No idea, if it isn't his car why bother posting the photo, most of us know what a Focus RS looks like.

Exactly, the picture brightened up the thread IMO.
What a Joker - nit picked before he engages his brain then gave some waffle to try and cover the fact.

The reason i posted the picture Mr Nit picking is the fact that I was highlighting what the car would look like in the rear view mirror, I mean if you glance at your mirror you see it! Its bright green! I was trying to highlight the fact that its hard to miss the giant snot colour blob of metal waiting to pass....

Actually that's a fair point: how many of us have a picture of ourselves driving our car, taken from the car in front (no, don't post them if you do)?

Had this happen a while ago to be and my family coming back from Bristol (to Swindon) on the M4.We where in my wifes car, a 1 ltr Yaris smile and closed in on a MLM who was in L2 (we were in L1 @70ish), as i was about to 'overtake' on the left the kretin accelerates to match my speed to prevent this happening.I slowed in L1 so Kretin slows in L2.I tried moving to L3 to pass slowly so kretin speeds up! I return to L1 and Kretin kept me in this position until i exited the motorway at Swindon.I was fuming tbh, why would anyone do this?

I meant that its obvious a FRS is not an underpowered shopping car, its a very purposeful looking car.
It's obvious to us yes, but to 90% of people on the roads it's just a green car, & half of those couldn't even tell you it was a Ford, let alone an RS.

Because they are morons who feel they need to prove they are much better than you. Happens all the time when driving cars that 'shouldn't' be travellling fast in the eyes of bell ends. I have done lots of driving in Transits and other small vans in this country and Europe, guess where the only country that motorists would rather speed up than be passed by a van on a DC or Mway is?

Nit picking before I engage my brain? Sure why not.

I'm not the one posting on the internet having a moan because I'm upset people don't let me past in my bright green hatchback, thinking that it might be spite or jealousy. Didums.

You seem to over estimate how much attention about 95% of road users actually pay, I watched an ambulance approach a moving line of cars on a dual carriageway last night with lights and sirens on, not one got out of the way and seemed surprised there was a car right behind them at the last minute.

Sorry I wasnt very clear (rant mode)

This particular comment was aimed at the previously mentioned Vectra driver who poorly tried to accelerate away. What I meant was; I wasnt in a barry'd Corsa that the diesel Vectra could suprise and blow into the weeds...

I drove from London to Cornwall and back at New Year and encountered endless bellends hogging the middle and outside lanes.

Some were oblivious, some seemed to be indignant (about what?) and some were just downright obstructive.

I've never understood the psychology.

I don't give a s**t about who's overtaking me. So why do they?

Very odd.
