No, not unless they continue to ignore the issue for a few days. As mentioned above, the domain name goes back to the registrar for a while before being put back into the 'pool' and other people are able to register it.The Hypno-Toad said:

I'm guessing loo paper is in pretty short supply up at Halfords head office IT department this morning. Lets face it, as an IT department its a pretty basic thing to remember.
I struggle to think that someone wouldn't sign off that bill
