Would be keen to see how it reacts actually.

Audi S2, 2.2 inline-5 turbo quattro, modified - but producing stock power figures frown
Definitely poorly that! It looks like the turbo is just about to cut in, and then nothing happens. Waste gate opening too early? Fuelling not good enough?

On the Escort Cosworth: how on earth did they manage to drive that to the dyno in the first place? It doesn't look the most driveable car in the world.

when you get your cars dyno'd, what gear do they use? I have visions of sweeping transmissions up of the floor when put under full load in first gear.

We have a tractor I'd like to see on a rolling road, it won;t be very fast, but would probably fire the dyno out the back of the workshop hehe

I would love to know what voodoo they did to Mr Garlick's 4.0, that's one sweet looking torque curve.

So, who's gonna post a remapped 335D?

(Not my chart BTW, pilfered off t'internet)

I've only one chart of my own

My old 850 T5, suffering from a wk aftermarket air filter. Went much better with the OEM airbox refitted. I never did bother with another run on the rollers

yes

I had a very similar curve with my S2 but that was cured once I changed the Divertor Valve and the Wastegate Frequency valve.

I'll post up the results tomorrow.

I have done a little more to it since then but haven't had it on the dyno since. Certainly feels a little quicker than it did.

The boost/hp graph is below.

It's a suspected head gasket leak which is causing loss of compression.

It's due to have a complete head re-build next week, along with a few other upgrades at the same time whistle

Ah gotcha!

RS2 upgrade by any chance?

I have considered upgrading mine but to be honest it's reliable as it is and I've never felt as though it's slow driving it on B roads. Plus I could do without the expense! hehe

Let me know how you get on once you've had the rebuild. Whilst you're getting it done, replace the G62 sensor on the back of the block just below the PVC hose. It measures the temperature of the coolant and sends this to the ECU which then decides how much boost to give.

I think mine is playing up a little bit as it gives either 0.9 bar of boost or 1.1 bar of boost. Either way, it cost's about £3 and is probably worth replacing as it's a bh to get to with everything in place.

I bought this for my iPhone. Easy.
Finding a sturdy, suitable place to mount the phone, not so easy.

Anyone had much success in a Caterham or similar?

I use one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-Windscreen-Mount-Holder-...

If you don't have a screen I can't see why you couldn't DIY it to attach to the dash instead.

I've been meaning to do it for a while wink

I'll be fitting an RS2 turbo, RS2 exhaust cam, RS2 injectors, southbend clutch and Wagner EM, which will join the Wagner IM/IC, RS2 airbox etc that's already fitted.

Good tip with the sensor, cheers for that! I'll let you know how i get on smile

Honda Insight MK1 1.0L 2001 250,000 miles Modified IMA system

OK I know this is not a car people automatically associate with tuning. Anyway after a bit of electric motor tweaking I was able to get it on the dyno at Motorscope Northallerton.

I see from my figures at the max power point I was losing 14bhp in the drivetrain, inc gearbox, driveshafts, wheelbearings, and Rolling resistance.
