I really like the bar that goes through the center which is connected to the gear shift (thumbup for keep to gear shift rather than flappy dappy paddles), I suppose it could double up as a "oohhh st" bar if things get a bit hairy whilst driving it hehe

Did you miss the flappy paddles in the pic? hehe
Clearly hehe, Oh well at least they are still offering the option!.

Always liked the idea of Spyker but the shape was never quite there, this though looks like a beautiful evolution of the original design, I like it alot!

Have to agree with ESOG the interior completely lets it down for me.

It's not all the chrome or the really cool gearlever, it's the dash clocks and the bog ugly steering wheel kicked from Audi. Much preferred the bespoke interior of their old car.

Audi wheel looks like one from the new XJ to me? But a great looking car and interior

I thought the stick was for D, N, R and the paddles for changing gears in D?

Ah well if thats true I look like a complete and utter numpty now don't I? hehe

On closer inspection I think you're right as the gear change just goes back and forth so unless it only has 2 gears...laugh

The New Aileron is just sexy. Not very keen on all the shiny crap in the interior, but do like the interior design. Once that new Chevy engine is in there this will be a true supercar rather than the almost supercar it is now.

But love it as much as i do i am struggling to understand the business model upon which this CCP buy out is based on.

Hope they can restructure the network and get more sales moving.

They could and i think should look at the costing and retail pricing.

It's not hard to understand why CCP bought Spyker, if the now-owner was forced out for the Saab acquisition and simply wanted it back. For someone worth several hundred million, a £25M plaything is rather sensible. Some of his peers are putting more than that into huge yachts.

I think the exterior on the current car is a significant step up - I suppose the shape needed to be more elongated - but the interior is nowhere near as nice as it used to be. The vents and wheel are especially ugly. Still, it's a very nice looking car, the front is particularly lovely.

The body isn't bad, but there are too many chrome bits for my liking.

The interior looks like a school project that 13 year-olds would be proud of.

I remember seeing a video on YouTube by someone on PH, road testing one around some twisty stuff, sounded the boll*cks!!! Loved them when they were at Le Mans, a truly beautiful sound, made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!
