A couple of tasty Munich offerings although the first one is pushing "barge" a little bit (well, alot but it is tidy)

I bloody love that!

Great find.
if that's as solid as described, an absolute bargain.
It has a wonderful well to do old lady since new air to it. I love that whoever ordered it splashed out untold £££ ticking air-con, autobox and mettalic paint but left rolly-polly windows! thumbup

Another if it wasn't so oop north!
Indeed, that is properly lovely.

my old E21 never had a radio. i managed to find a 2nd hand factory radio-head unit holder, fitted it and put in an early 90's blaupunkt head unit.

living without music in the car was horrible. i survived all but 2 months hehe mind you, wouldn't have been so bad if it was a straight 6.

Looking at the older M20 cars, I'd not go lower than a 170bhp 525i, but the M30 530i/535i (190 & 211 ponies respectively, a few more without a cat) barely cost any more to fuel or maintain and feel much more appropriate.
spot on. though around town, the M30 535i (in my experience) DOES cost quite a bit more in fuel than the M50 2.5.
I was comparing the M30s with the M20 2.5 though, where there really is a negligible difference. I agree that the 24v engines are distinctly better in that respect.

Posted a few pages back. Do like. A lot. A threadist should get it bought.
May go take a look at this next weekend. Though if it's done a genuine 65k miles there may be some proverbial headwear consumption...
Bought the inlaws an E46 316i from these folks couple of years ago, car was as described ( travelled 100miles having agreed a deal prior) , had no issues with them (but had no issues with car) decent bloke if a little motor trade 'bling'

This (and a 7yr old low miles E46) are not really there normal bag, more into spunkier stuff

Probably a PX that passes muster for retail, which possibly bodes well.

They've had an E60 M5 I like for a while, black one with light interior and wood, but exterior chrome pack.

Had the last year been kinder on the wallet, I'd certainly have gone and had a proper look with a view to buying that by now.

Indeed, the E46 had been p/x'd against an E90

The usual 5 series fodder: worn cooling, brakes and suspension components, but it's well under a bag without even trying a haggle smile

If it wasn't an auto I'd be all over it like white on rice, however I think I would hold out until a 525i 24v in similar (apparent) condition became available - it is silky smooth, powerful enough and a very pleasant place to be.

The E30 is also pretty rare now, being a chromie unabused example.

Guys, help me out here.

A friend of mine is trying to mock me for having a 728i. They own a 1995 1.2 vw polo.

Where oh where do I start.

The traffic lights? 120 on the autobahn? Harlem globe trotters in the rear seats? 4 bodies in the boot?

I'm inclined to say if they don't get it, they never will. You could try taking them somewhere in it. I guess once they've had a ride, they might get it...

Sounds like it isn't exactly the best example, but the colours are fab. Red contours are amazing.
