All of the stop signs do my head in. It seems like such a daft system. My 3.0 V6 Camry consistently gets around 17-20mpg.

Probably the most reliable car no longer sold in Europe.

Completely irrelevant unless of course you live in Gibraltar and plan to spend hours in the queues but I saw Morrisons has diesel fuel for 82.5p!!!! I wonder if it'll go below 80p???

Cheapest price I've found around my part of Spain in Marbella is 1,099eur (which is about 87p).

I'm hoping this continues! smile

This makes me happy. Cheapest I've seen so far is £1.127/l but everywhere is coming down.

Coincidentally I've just put a deposit down on a big V8 luxobarge, happy times smileparty.

No, because people will not trust prices to stay low long term.

£1.14 still isnt that close considering how much is tax. I doubt we'll see 99p.

Thing on the news just now that Sainsburys are dropping it to 110.9p a litre smile

Whilst I'm enjoying the cheap fuel, I hadn't appreciated that this fuel situation was bringing chaos to the north sea oil industry!

NOt really OT but Heating oil is still 50p/l. It should be 30 as there is no duty and very small vat (5%). Do you think it's the huge stockpiles the wholesalers must get through? Ive been quoted as low as 44 and as high as 69p/l. it's a bloody racket

I suspect this is at least part of the reason. They have already purchased stockpiles coming in to winter. It would not surprise me to see it go down next year.

Tesco in Newton Abott had 110.9p/l Unleaded and 119.9 Diesel today.
Personally think it will start to bottom out around 103.9/4.9 unleaded.
