Over the years my old Dad has had numerous cars ,but I remember these for some reason . An Anglia 105 , 894CUS. A Mk1 Cortina CAR274B,and probably his only ever brand new car back in 65 was an Anglia estate DVN916C.

N164 HNG - Ford Mondeo we had for a good few years. Sold it to a friend who wrote it off within a couple weeks
PF51 FYO - Merc C class bought almost new. My mom tells me it still knocks her sick how much money the lost on that car. Had a nightmare with the electronics on it and sold it probably 2 years later.
After this they switched to personalised so can't take credit

Of the many cars dad had, I can only remember one registration. Cars in my youth were an endless series of old sheds and life involved undertaking engine swaps, resprays and cancelled days out due to numerous reliability issues

SGL 702M, a Vauxhall Victor FE 2300 estate, always smelt of dogs in damp weather

MOA 75P - Mk2 Cortina 2000E estate. Metallic grey. His first company car.
FWX 688T - Mk2 Granada 2.8GL estate, white.
EUB 986Y - Cavalier CDi hatch, red.
B610 KBL - BMW 320i 4 door, white.
PIJ 2558 - Irish reg Mk1 Golf GTi, metallic green.

He also had a Mk1 Cortina GT on a C plate and a Fiat 125 Special on an H but I can't remember their full numbers.

Mum's cars:

EVY 455D - Mini estate. Almond Green
FUB 781K - Mini Clubman Estate. Also green.
JDF 11N - Viva Special 2 door. Metallic blue with a Webasto roof. Inherited from my Nan.
VJX 510R - Mk2 Capri Ghia 2.0. Gold. Heavy steering so my Dad drove it more than my Mum in the end.
XGR 545R - Polo L 900. Also my first car when she had finished with it.
FWW 7Y - Volvo 360 GLS.

Quite a few more but those are the ones I remember
