I think that a Tesla should at least feature on this list.
It's a poll on PistonHeads, therefore I think it reasonable for all qualifiers to have ... PISTONS

Set up a site called EVHeads.
Except the Porsche Taycan that made it onto the list? Maybe time to move on from the dark ages, gramps? wink

Another vote for the Alfa QV. Had mine about 6 months now and absolutely love it in pretty much every way. Feels so special every time you drive it, sounds awesome, looks great and it's so planted on a B road. Infotainment is a bit turd but who cares?
Also, you just don't see them, whereas it feels F8x generation M cars are everywhere.

No denying the Alfa is a pretty car. I was always put off by poor after sales and a belief that all Alfa’s were unreliable (apparently not these), so what’s not to like. Good choice.

Went for the Bugeye Impreza, Maserati Quattroporte, Accord Type R.
Haven't driven any of them so my opinion is probably not worth much but one of these will get into the top 3.

BMW 5 Series E39; anything with the straight six or larger. Felt like it was hewn from a solid block of granite, had the comfort of your favourite armchair and handled like a go cart. Superb

It’s an obvious choice , but so clearly the winner the e39 M5 , it’s a car you could buy now and drive till you can’t drive no more

Big eye took second place for me to spread things out

Third pick was tricky , I like the e46 M3 and the Alfa wanted to vote for the Alfa. It never driven one while I have driven the e46 and it’s a good drive with an excellent very characterful engine

Audi and Mercedes have never done much for me, the original RS4 and the Audi Quattro being the main exceptions

Alfa wins it for me, car was developed by the magician behind the 458 Speciale and it reeks of Ferrari DNA - just a full on drivers car that can turn it all down and be a comfortable cruiser. One of the few cars that feels as special to drive as its much more expensive cousin.

1: Alfa QF
2: B7 RS4 - manual gearbox, V8 with insane red line and the best point to point all weather compact audi
3: E46 M3 manual - just a lovely package in its day

Any generation BMW 530d.

Great looking cars that are fast, comfortable and economical. There is nothing to not like.

Impreza GC8 (changed a generation)

M5 E39 (manual V8. Best combo of any M5)
How can you vote for the RS4, it’s an estate! NOT a saloon!

Surely the RS5 Sportback should be considered!
