I love the look of it, but couldn't they use a BMW V8? And what's with putting the //Motorsport colours on it? Fan of everything but the engine...

Can't imagine it does much for the handling, but a nice noise!

Guess the price is alot cheaper than a BMW lump.

I know a chap in Warwick who has a M Coupe with the LS1 which goes like stink, but I would have kept the straight 6.

I'm probably going to get slated for this, but I wouldn't mind this if it was in black.

I would swap all my toes for that exactly as it is.

Dam! I did not know you could shoe horn a corvette lump into that car, must go like a rocket, and sound good. Like.

Flyin' Miata will sell you everything you need to do the conversion.

Cost about £20K with a crate LS3 motor.

doesn't sound that good imo, and has he cut the bulkhead/windscreen to get the trumpets on?

Of course not; there's easily enough room to get a V12 in where an I4 normally sits. rolleyes

Windscreen's untouched

How about a longitudinal V10 where a transverse I4 usually sits?

Yes, and the engine and gearbox from an E60 M5.

How does that work then? The M5 gearbox should have a single propshaft output on the rear. There's no diff in the gearbox. So what's going on there?
You've beaten me to the same question, that's obviously a transaxle so can't be from an M5.

Hmm, good point. Maybe not the M5's gearbox then. hehe

Unfortunately I can't read German. smile

It doesn't look like an Audi one, not that I think a 2WD Audi box would be up to the job.
Boxster, maybe?
